Jesus paid the ultimate price for our freedom and because he dwells in us, we create a Home where love, joy and peace are evident. Lock arms with us, make that commitment with us and let's walk this thing out. Together we follow him.

Here's the 411

Upcoming events:

1. Fresh Food Friday - Every Friday, from 3pm - 7pm we package groceries and deliver them to our community. We need volunteers each hour to help us prepare and deliver food as we love on our neighbors. The connections and dependance of this mission are essential to those in need. Please meet us at our new loading location, 2319 Defoor Hills Rd NW Atlanta GA 30318 to volunteer. Come out and make a difference.

2. Warm Atlanta Drive - We are now collecting coats, hats, gloves, and socks for our friends on the street. This drive will continue through January and be distributed on Saturday, the 22nd of January between 12pm and 2pm. Do your part and help us love our city with providing supplies and lending a helping hand to distribute on this Saturday. This is a very important drive to keep our friends that live on the street. We appreciate anything you can do. We will be meeting at Safehouse Outreach, 89 Ellis St NE, Atlanta, GA 30303

3. Soul Food Sunday - join us this Sunday, January 23rd, 4pm @ GSU Piedmont Central Dining Hall. We will be having service at Georgia State University and provide food, worship, fellowship and more. Last year was amazing and we are excited to be back for 2022 and see what God has planned for these amazing students.

4. Church on the Streets - Monday, January 24th 6pm @ The Safe House, 89 Ellis St Atlanta GA 30303 we will be serving our friends on the street. Come and join us for a night full of music and blessing those in need with a hot meal. Our friends need you.

Last week we hosted our first mission group for 2022. Trinity Christian School from Lubbock, Texas joined us for an inner-city mission trip. They were able to assist with our first kickoff fundraiser "Warm Atlanta". The students walked the streets of ATL handing out socks and letting our friends know how much they are loved. They also assisted with Fresh Food Friday and had an amazing experience learning about the mission of City Takers firsthand and what it means to truly take over the city and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

1 Word of Encouragement

Sunday Pastor Scott continued his message "Home". He started the message by letting all know how much Crossover appreciates and loves each one that is connected to the ministry and that they have a Home here whether they attend each Sunday, once a month or online. He taught on Christ (1) Purchase and (2) Production of his church (us) and that with him as the Chief Cornerstone he is building us up brick by brick protecting us against the elements of this world. He reminded us of the (3) Virtue of God's Will and that Jesus was given the church (us) as a dwelling place to build up others and be a light in this dark world.
