coronavirus (covid-19)

In light of the recent concerns in our community about the COVID-19 virus, we want you to be informed and know that we are standing together in prayer and faith for our church family, our city and the world.

We do not want to add to the panic, and you may not personally be alarmed by the COVID-19 virus. However, we have a responsibility to protect those that would be vulnerable to this fast-moving virus that still has so many unknowns.

We would like to reaffirm the CDC's guidelines for health and safety and let you know that we are dedicated to offering a clean and safe environment. On top of regular cleaning practices the whole campus will be undergoing a deep cleaning and sanitation over the next few weeks.

The only decision we have made is in regards to our upcoming larger gatherings. We will not be gathering in person this Sunday but will be gathering virtually Sunday at 12:30pm on our website and on Facebook Live for mid-week bible studies (more info on this coming soon). At this point, we are not cancelling any small or mid-sized groups or events.

Let's continue to pray over this situation and pray for our government leaders!

  • To pray for you, your family, your friends, your job, your school, our neighbors, city, state, nation and world and pray that His church SHINES BRIGHT during this trying time.

  • To provide information and biblical perspective without adding unnecessary fear.

  • To stay connected with you and continue to provide leadership, discipleship and community throughout this period of time.

  • To monitor the situation and and follow recommendations from local and state health departments.

  • Pray.

  • Stay connected.

  • Continue to support your church and church family.

  • Be like Jesus (Be The Church, as Pastor Scott always encourages us to).

  • Rely on the Word of God.

  • Continue to promote everyday preventive actions (e.g., stay home when sick, cover coughs and sneezes, and wash hands often).

We love you and would like to leave you with Jesus' words...

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33

Much love,

Pastor Scott Free
